Installation [10/2014 - ]: Procedure
- TEMPORARILY INSTALL REAR STRUT ROD ASSEMBLY
- Temporarily install the rear strut rod assembly (rear) with the bolt and nut.NOTE:
Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Tighten the bolt with the nut secured.
HINT:
Insert the bolt from the inside of the vehicle.
- Support the rear axle carrier sub-assembly with a jack and a wooden block.
- Connect the rear strut rod assembly (front) with the 2 bolts.
- Temporarily install the rear strut rod assembly (rear) with the bolt and nut.
- STABILIZE SUSPENSION
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10
- FULLY TIGHTEN REAR STRUT ROD ASSEMBLY
- Fully tighten the bolt (rear).
Torque: 80 N*m (816 kgf*cm, 59 ft.*lbf)
NOTE:Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Tighten the bolt with the nut secured.
- Fully tighten the 2 bolts (front).
Torque: 85 N*m (867 kgf*cm, 63 ft.*lbf)
- Fully tighten the bolt (rear).
- CONNECT NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY
- Connect the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly with the bolt.
Torque: 6.0 N*m (61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf)
- Connect the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly with the bolt.
- INSTALL REAR WHEEL
Torque: 103 N*m (1049 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf)
