Removal [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE LH 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts.

    2. Remove the tail exhaust pipe LH from the 2 exhaust pipe supports.
    3. Remove the gasket from the center exhaust pipe assembly.
  2. REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts.

    2. Remove the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the 3 exhaust pipe supports.
    3. Remove the gasket from the center exhaust pipe assembly.
  3. REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE DAMPER 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and exhaust pipe damper from the center exhaust pipe assembly.

  4. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

    2. Remove the center exhaust pipe assembly from the 2 exhaust pipe supports.
    3. Remove the gasket from the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst).
  5. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  6. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET (for Front Side) 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and No. 1 exhaust pipe support bracket (for Front Side).

  8. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (TWC: Rear Catalyst) 
    1. Disconnect the 2 wire harnesses from the clamp.

    2. Disconnect the 2 heated oxygen sensor connectors.
    3. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

    4. Remove the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the No. 1 exhaust pipe support bracket (for Rear Side).

    5. Remove the 2 gaskets from the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst).
  9. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  10. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
