Installation [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Set a new gasket to the cylinder head sub-assembly.
2. Temporarily install the exhaust manifold sub-assembly LH (TWC: Front Catalyst) with the 6 nuts.
3. Temporarily install the No. 2 manifold stay with the bolt and nut.
4. Using a 12 mm deep socket wrench, uniformly tighten the 6 nuts in several steps in the order shown in the illustration.

   Torque: 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf) 

1. Tighten the bolt and nut in the order shown in the illustration.

   Torque: 34 N*m (347 kgf*cm, 25 ft.*lbf) 

1. Install the No. 2 exhaust manifold heat insulator with the 3 bolts.

   Torque: 8.5 N*m (87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf)

1. Set a new gasket to the cylinder head sub-assembly.
2. Using a 12 mm deep socket wrench, tighten the 6 nuts in the order shown in the illustration to install the exhaust manifold sub-assembly RH (TWC: Front Catalyst).

   Torque: 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf) 

Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

1. Install 3 new gaskets to the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst).
2. Install the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) with the 4 bolts and 4 nuts.

   Bolt B and Nut 

   Torque: 49 N*m (500 kgf*cm, 36 ft.*lbf) 

3. Install the No. 1 exhaust pipe support bracket with the 2 bolts (for Rear Side).

   Torque: 33 N*m (337 kgf*cm, 24 ft.*lbf) 

4. Connect the 2 heated oxygen sensor connectors.
5. Install the 2 wire harnesses to the clamp.
