Removal [08/2015 - 08/2019]: Procedure

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    WARNING:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2015 - 08/2019] ).

  2. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21

  6. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX INSERT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  7. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22

  8. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  9. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX DOOR COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24

  10. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

  11. REMOVE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) 
    1. Disconnect the connectors.
    2. Remove the bolt, nut and DCM (telematics transceiver) with bracket from the vehicle.

  12. REMOVE MAYDAY BATTERY WITH BRACKET 
    1. Remove the bolt.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the mayday battery with bracket.
  13. REMOVE NO. 1 TELEPHONE BRACKET 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and No. 1 telephone bracket.
  14. REMOVE NO. 2 TELEPHONE BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 telephone bracket.
