Reassembly [02/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL PIN 
    1. Install the 2 No. 1 instrument panel pins with the 2 screws <D>.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE 
    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 2 side defroster nozzle.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE 
    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 1 side defroster nozzle.

  4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION 
    1. Install a new instrument panel cushion as shown in the illustration.

      HINT: 

      Install the ends of the instrument panel cushion so that they are within the standard dimension (A) shown in the illustration.

      STANDARD DIMENSION

      Area Dimension
      A 0 to 10 mm (0 to 0.394 in.)
  5. INSTALL NO. 1 DEFROSTER NOZZLE GARNISH 
    1. Engage the 4 guides, 4 claws and 2 clips to install the No. 1 defroster nozzle garnish.

  6. INSTALL NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION 
    1. Using hot-melt glue, install 4 new No. 3 instrument panel cushions.

  7. INSTALL NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION 
    1. Using hot-melt glue, install a new No. 4 instrument panel cushion.

  8. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPACER 
    1. Using hot-melt glue, install a new No. 2 instrument panel spacer.

  9. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPACER 
    1. Using hot-melt glue, install a new No. 1 instrument panel spacer.

  10. INSTALL NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE 
    1. Engage the 12 clamps to install the No. 4 instrument panel wire.

  11. INSTALL AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  12. INSTALL CENTER HEATER TO REGISTER SUB DUCT 
    1. Install the center heater to register sub duct with the 2 screws <D>.

  13. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  14. INSTALL NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  15. INSTALL ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  16. INSTALL DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the defroster nozzle assembly with the 3 screws <D>.

  17. INSTALL NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT 
    1. Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Install the No. 2 side defroster nozzle duct with the screw <D>.
  18. INSTALL NO. 4 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT 
    1. Install the No. 4 heater to register duct with the 3 screws <D>.

  19. INSTALL NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT 
    1. Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Install the No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct with the screw <D>.
  20. INSTALL NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT 
    1. Install the No. 1 heater to register duct with the 3 screws <D>.
