Removal [02/2014 - 11/2016]: Procedure

- REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [02/2014 - ]
- REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
- REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22
- REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR SEAL LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE SEAL RH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
- DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- REMOVE INTAKE AIR RESONATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE INLET NO. 2 AIR CLEANER
- REMOVE INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE
- Disengage the hose clamp from the air cleaner hose.
- Disconnect the mass air flow meter sub-assembly connector and disengage the wire harness clamp.
- Slide the clip and disconnect the ventilation hose from the air cleaner hose.
- Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the air cleaner hose from the throttle body with motor assembly.
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Disengage the clamp to remove the air cleaner assembly with air cleaner hose.
- Disengage the hose clamp from the air cleaner hose.
- REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the throttle body with motor assembly connector and disengage the wire harness clamp.
- Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the No. 2 water by-pass hose and No. 3 water by-pass hose from the throttle body with motor assembly.
*1 No. 2 Water By-pass Hose *2 No. 3 Water By-pass Hose - Remove the 4 bolts, wire harness clamp bracket and throttle body with motor assembly from the intake air surge tank assembly.NOTE:
If the throttle body with motor assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- Disconnect the throttle body with motor assembly connector and disengage the wire harness clamp.
- REMOVE THROTTLE BODY GASKET
