Removal [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure
- DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE
- Disconnect the mass air flow meter sub-assembly connector and disengage the wire harness clamp.
- Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose from the No. 1 air cleaner hose.
- Disengage the vacuum hose clamp from the No. 1 air cleaner hose.
- Disconnect the air hose from the air cleaner cap sub-assembly.
- Disengage the 2 air cleaner cap clamps.
- Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner cap with air cleaner hose from the throttle body with motor assembly.
- Disconnect the mass air flow meter sub-assembly connector and disengage the wire harness clamp.
- REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the throttle body with motor assembly connector and disengage the wire harness clamp.
- Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the No. 2 water by-pass hose and No. 3 water by-pass hose from the throttle body with motor assembly.
*1 No. 2 water by-pass hose *2 No. 3 water by-pass hose - Remove the 4 bolts, wire harness clamp bracket and throttle body with motor assembly from the intake air surge tank.NOTE:
If the throttle body with motor assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- Disconnect the throttle body with motor assembly connector and disengage the wire harness clamp.
- REMOVE THROTTLE BODY GASKET
