Reassembly [02/2014 - 11/2016]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. INSTALL POWER BACK DOOR UNIT SET ASSEMBLY LH 

    See step  1

  3. INSTALL POWER BACK DOOR UNIT SET ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. INSTALL DOOR DUST PROOF SEAL 
    1. Engage the guide and 2 claws to install the door dust proof seal.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  5. INSTALL CUSHION 
    1. Engage the 4 claws to install 4 new cushions.

  6. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOWER STOPPER CUSHION 
    1. Engage the 2 claws to install 2 new back door lower stopper cushions.

  7. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for LH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  8. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for RH Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. INSTALL TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear View Monitor System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  10. INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  11. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  12. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  13. INSTALL NO. 2 BACK DOOR WEATHERSTRIP 
    1. Install a new No. 2 back door weatherstrip so that the alignment marks, joint and areas indicated by the arrows, are aligned as shown in the illustration.
      NOTE:

      After installation, check that the corners fit correctly.

  14. INSTALL BACK DOOR GLASS 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  15. INSTALL BACK WINDOW STAY BOLT 

    for LH Side: See step  1

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  16. INSTALL BACK WINDOW STAY ASSEMBLY LH 

    See step  4

    HINT:

  18. INSTALL REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  19. INSTALL REAR SIDE SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  20. INSTALL REAR SIDE SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  21. INSTALL BACK WINDOW LOCK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  22. INSTALL REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  23. INSTALL REAR WIPER LINK PIVOT WITH WASHER PACKING 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  24. INSTALL REAR WIPER LINK CAP 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  25. INSTALL REAR WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  26. INSTALL REAR WIPER ARM HEAD CAP 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  27. INSTALL REAR WIPER SHAFT COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  28. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOWER STOPPER LH 
    1. Install the back door lower stopper LH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 7.5 N*m (76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf) 

  29. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOWER STOPPER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  30. INSTALL MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU 

    See step  1

  31. INSTALL POWER BACK DOOR SENSOR ASSEMBLY LH 

    See step  1

  32. INSTALL POWER BACK DOOR SENSOR ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  33. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (w/ Back Door Speaker) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  34. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (w/ Back Door Speaker) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  35. INSTALL BACK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH 

    See step  1

  36. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  37. INSTALL DOOR PULL HANDLE 
    1. Engage the 4 claws to install the door pull handle.

      HINT: 

      With the back door fully open, install the door pull handle so that the arrow on the backside of door pull handle points up.

  38. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Engage the 16 clips to install the back door trim panel assembly.

  39. INSTALL NO. 2 BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER 
    1. Engage the 2 guides and 4 clips to install the No. 2 back door service hole cover.

  40. INSTALL NO. 1 BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER

    1. Engage the 2 guides and 3 claws to install the back door lock cover.

    1. Engage the guide, 2 claws and 2 clips to install the back door trim cover LH.

    HINT:

  44. INSTALL BACK WINDOW UPPER TRIM PANEL 
    1. Engage the 4 clips and 4 claws to install the back window upper trim panel.

  45. INITIALIZE POWER BACK DOOR SYSTEM
