Removal [08/2013 - 08/2016]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  2. SEPARATE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the clip and nut, and separate the transmission control cable assembly from the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket and control shaft lever.

      *1 No. 1 Transmission Control Cable Bracket
      *2 Control Shaft Lever
  3. REMOVE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the park/neutral position switch assembly connector.
    2. Remove the nut, washer and control shaft lever from the manual valve lever shaft.

    3. Pry out the lock plate and remove the lock nut and lock plate from the park/neutral position switch assembly.

    4. Remove the 2 bolts and park/neutral position switch assembly from the transaxle case.
