DTC P0717: Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit No Signal [08/2019 - ]: Procedure

- INSPECT SPEED SENSOR NT INSTALLATION
- Check the speed sensor NT installation.

The installation bolt is tightened properly and there is no clearance between the sensor and transmission case.

SECURELY INSTALL OR REPLACE SPEED SENSOR NT. Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

- Check the speed sensor NT installation.
- INSPECT SPEED SENSOR NT
- Disconnect the B34 speed sensor NT connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

REPLACE SPEED SENSOR NT. Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

- Disconnect the B34 speed sensor NT connector.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SPEED SENSOR NT - ECM)
- Disconnect the B37 ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B37-21 (NT+) - B37-22 (NT-) 20°C (68°F) 560 to 680 Ω B37-21 (NT+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher B37-22 (NT-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*a Rear view of wire harness connector
