Removal [10/2014 - ]: Procedure
- RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
See step 1
- REMOVE SERVICE PLUG GRIP
(Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 )
- REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
(Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] )
- CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE
- Remove the connector cover assembly (Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 ).
- Check the terminal voltage (Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 ).
- Install the connector cover assembly (Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 ).
- DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE
- DISCONNECT SUCTION HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE COMPRESSOR WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY
- Using a screwdriver, slide the green-colored lock of the connector <A> as shown in the illustration to release it and disconnect the connector.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*a Green-colored Lock WARNING:Make sure to wear insulating gloves.
NOTE:Insulate the removed terminals and connector with insulating tape.
- Disconnect the connector <B>.
- Remove the bolt and 2 nuts and compressor with motor assembly.
- Using an E8 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 stud bolts.
- Using a screwdriver, slide the green-colored lock of the connector <A> as shown in the illustration to release it and disconnect the connector.
