Removal [10/2014 - ]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2014 - ] ).
- DISABLE BRAKE CONTROL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- REMOVE REAR WHEEL
- DRAIN BRAKE FLUID NOTE:
If brake fluid leaks onto any painted surface, immediately wash it off.
- REMOVE REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE
- Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the brake line while holding the rear flexible hose with a wrench.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*1 Brake Line *2 Clip *3 Bolt NOTE:- Do not kink or damage the brake line.
- Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt or dust to enter the brake line from the connecting parts.
- Remove the clip from the rear flexible hose.
- Remove the bolt.
- Remove the union bolt, gasket and rear flexible hose.
- Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the brake line while holding the rear flexible hose with a wrench.
