Removal [08/2013 - ]

  1. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the deck board assembly.
  2. REMOVE NO. 1 DECK BOARD 
    1. Remove the No. 1 deck board.
  3. REMOVE NO. 2 DECK BOARD 
    1. Remove the No. 2 deck board.
  4. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX 
    1. Remove the rear deck floor box.
  5. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH 
    1. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the deck floor box RH.

  6. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover) 
    1. Remove the tonneau cover assembly.
  7. REMOVE FRONT DECK FLOOR BOX 
    1. Remove the front deck floor box.
  8. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD 
    1. Remove the bolt.

    2. Disengage the 3 claw and 4 guides, and remove the rear No. 1 floor board.
  9. REMOVE BACK DOOR SCUFF PLATE 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws, 4 clips and 2 guides and remove the back door scuff plate.

  10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 
    1. Disengage the 10 claws and remove the front door scuff plate LH.

  11. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the clip.

    2. Disengage the 2 clips and remove the cowl side trim sub-assembly LH.
  12. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH 
    1. Remove the front door opening trim weatherstrip LH.
  13. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH 
    1. Pull the upper part of the garnish toward the inside of the cabin and disengage the garnish from the base of the 2 clips.

      *1 Front Pillar Garnish Clip

      HINT: 

      Make the front pillar garnish LH hang down from the front pillar garnish clip.

    2. Turn the front pillar garnish clip 90° with needle-nose pliers and remove it from the front pillar garnish LH.

      HINT: 

      Tape the tip of needle-nosed pliers before use.

    3. Disengage the 2 guides (A).
    4. Disengage the guide (B) while pressing the shaded part in the illustration in the direction indicated by the arrow (2).
    5. Remove the front pillar garnish LH by pulling it in the direction indicated by the arrow (3) in the illustration.
    6. Remove the front pillar garnish clip from the front pillar.
    7. Protect the curtain shield airbag assembly.

      *1 Adhesive Tape
      *2 Protective Cover
      *3 Curtain Shield Airbag Assembly
      1. Cover the airbag with a cloth or piece of nylon and secure the ends of the cover with tape as shown in the illustration.
        NOTE:

        Cover the curtain shield airbag with a protective cover as soon as the front pillar garnish is removed.

  14. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 
    1. Move the rear seat assembly LH to the foremost position.
    2. Disengage the 9 claws and 3 clips, and remove the rear door scuff plate LH.

  15. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH 
    1. Remove the rear door opening trim weatherstrip LH.
  16. REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER (for LH Side)  . Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] - Step 12
  17. DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH  . Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] - Step 13
  18. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH LH 
    1. Disengage the 4 claws and 2 clips, and remove the center pillar lower garnish LH.

  19. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH 
    1. Remove the bolt.

    2. Disengage the 2 clips.
    3. Pass the floor anchor of the front seat outer seat belt assembly LH through the center pillar garnish LH and remove the center pillar garnish LH.
  20. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  21. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  22. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  23. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  24. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  25. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  26. REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER (for RH Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  27. DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  28. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  29. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  30. REMOVE LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY (for LH Side) 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the 2 luggage hold belt striker assemblies.
  31. REMOVE FRONT DECK SIDE TRIM COVER LH 
    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front deck side trim cover LH.
  32. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH  . Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] - Step 16
  33. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] - Step 1
  34. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Disengage the 7 claws, 5 clips and 5 guides, and remove the deck trim side panel assembly LH.
  35. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides, and disconnect the belt guide LH.

    2. Pull the roof side inner garnish assembly LH in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) shown in the illustration to disengage the 7 clips (A).

    3. Pull the roof side inner garnish assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) shown in the illustration to disengage the 3 clips (B) and remove the roof side inner garnish assembly LH and rear roof side rail garnish as a unit.
  36. REMOVE REAR ROOF SIDE RAIL GARNISH LH 
    1. Disengage the 4 claws and guide, and remove the rear roof side rail garnish LH.

  37. REMOVE LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY (for RH Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  38. REMOVE FRONT DECK SIDE TRIM COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  39. REMOVE REAR DECK TRIM COVER 
    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 6 claws.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the rear deck trim cover.
  40. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  41. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  42. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  43. REMOVE REAR ROOF SIDE RAIL GARNISH RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  44. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR COVER (w/ EC Mirror)  . Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] - Step 2
  45. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Standard Roof)  . Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] - Step 1
  46. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Glass Roof)  . Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] - Step 2
  47. REMOVE NO. 1 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] - Step 1
  48. REMOVE SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER 
    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 clips as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides, and remove the seat belt anchor cover.
  49. REMOVE FRONT ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using a clip remover, disengage the 4 claws.

      *1 Protective Tape
      *a Allow the covers to come off slightly
      NOTE:

      Do not forcibly pry the assist grip covers to prevent them from being deformed.

      HINT: 

      • Gently pry on the assist grip covers as shown in the illustration to remove them.
      • Tape the clip remover tip before use.
    2. Pull off the 2 assist grip covers by hand.
    3. Disengage the 2 clips and remove the front assist grip assembly.

    4. Remove the 2 clips from the vehicle body.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the other front assist grip assembly.

  50. REMOVE REAR ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using a clip remover, disengage the 4 claws.

      *1 Protective Tape
      *a Allow the covers to come off slightly
      NOTE:

      Do not forcibly pry the assist grip covers to prevent them from being deformed.

      HINT: 

      • Gently pry on the assist grip covers as shown in the illustration to remove them.
      • Tape the clip remover tip before use.
    2. Pull off the 2 assist grip covers by hand.
    3. Disengage the 2 clips and remove the rear assist grip assembly.

    4. Remove the 2 clips from the vehicle body.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the other rear assist grip assembly.

  51. REMOVE VISOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and visor assembly LH.

  52. REMOVE VISOR ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  53. REMOVE VISOR HOLDER 
    1. Turn the visor holder approximately 45° and pull it out as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the visor holder.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the other visor holder.

  54. DISCONNECT ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (for Standard Roof) 
    1. Remove the protective cover from the front pillar.

    2. w/o EC Mirror:
      1. Disengage the 3 clamps and disconnect the connector from the front pillar LH.
    3. w/ EC Mirror:
      1. Disconnect the inner rear view mirror connector.
      2. Disengage the 3 clamps and disconnect the 2 connectors from the front pillar LH.
    4. w/o Satellite Radio:
      1. Disengage the 3 clamps and disconnect the connector from the front pillar RH.
      2. Disengage the claw and disconnect the connector from the rear pillar RH.
    5. w/ Satellite Radio:
      1. Disengage the 3 clamps and disconnect the 2 connectors from the front pillar RH.
      2. Disengage the claw and clamp, and disconnect the 2 connectors from the rear pillar RH.
    6. Install the protective cover to the front pillar.
    7. Remove the 5 clips and temporarily set down the roof headlining assembly in the cabin.
  55. DISCONNECT ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (for Glass Roof) 
    1. Remove the protective cover from the front pillar.

    2. w/o EC Mirror:
      1. Disengage the 3 clamps and disconnect the connector from the front pillar LH.
    3. w/ EC Mirror:
      1. Disconnect the inner rear view mirror connector.
      2. Disengage the 3 clamps and disconnect the 2 connectors from the front pillar LH.
    4. w/o Satellite Radio:
      1. Disengage the 3 clamps and disconnect the connector from the front pillar RH.
      2. Disengage the claw and disconnect the connector from the rear pillar RH.
    5. w/ Satellite Radio:
      1. Disengage the 3 clamps and disconnect the 2 connectors from the front pillar RH.
      2. Disengage the claw and clamp, and disconnect the 2 connectors from the rear pillar RH.
    6. Install the protective cover to the front pillar.
    7. Remove the 3 clips.
    8. Disengage the 15 fasteners and temporarily set down the roof headlining assembly in the cabin.

  56. REMOVE WINDSHIELD GLASS 

    Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ]

  57. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the roof headlining assembly through the front of the vehicle.

      NOTE:

      Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or body interior.
