Removal [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2016 - ]

  4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20

  5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21

  6. REMOVE ECO RUN VEHICLE CONVERTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Move the lock lever as shown in the illustration and disconnect the eco run vehicle converter assembly connector.

      *a Lock Lever
    2. Remove the bolt, nut and eco run vehicle converter assembly.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 CONVERTER CONTROL BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 converter control bracket from the eco run vehicle converter assembly.
