DTC BMS_f079: Contactor Power Supply Interrupted [09/2013 - ]: Procedure
- CONFIRM SERVICE PLUG GRIP INSTALLATION WARNING:
- Unexpected high voltage may be present.
- Wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.
- Visually check the connection of the service plug grip to the electric vehicle battery assembly. Remove the service plug grip and check for contamination.

Dirt or foreign objects have not entered the connection, and there is no evidence of contamination.
- Securely reinstall the service plug grip.

- CHECK FOR ANY OTHER DTCS OUTPUT
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: System Select / Health Check.
- Read the DTCs.RESULT
Result Proceed to Only BMS_f079 is output A BMS_f079 and other DTCs are output B HINT:
If any DTCs other than alert code BMS_f079 are output, troubleshoot those DTCs first.
