DTC P324E-788: MG-ECU Power Relay Intermittent Circuit: Procedure

- CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HV)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
- Check if DTCs are output.
Result
Result Proceed to P324E-788 only is output. A U0110-159, 160, 656, 657 are also output. B - Turn the ignition switch off.

- CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION (INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY CONNECTOR). Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
NG → CONNECT SECURELY
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY - IGCT MAIN RELAY) WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
- Check that the service plug grip is not installed.NOTE:
After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the ignition switch to ON (READY), unless instructed by the repair information because this may cause a malfunction.
- Disconnect connector A64 from the inverter with converter assembly.
- Remove the IGCT MAIN relay from the engine room relay block No. 2.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition A64-30 (+B) or A64-31 (+B2) - Body ground and other terminals Ignition switch off 10 kΩ or higher - Install the IGCT MAIN relay.
- Connect the hybrid vehicle control ECU connector.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK → See step 4
- Check that the service plug grip is not installed.
- REPLACE INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY. Refer to REMOVAL
- GO TO DTC CHART. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART
