Rear Lower Arm: Removal: Removal

HINT: 

• Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
• The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL 
2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for RH Side) 
3. REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 2
4. REMOVE HEATER COVER (for RH Side)  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 6
5. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 5
6. SEPARATE NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY  See step  2
7. REMOVE REAR STRUT ROD ASSEMBLY  See step  3
8. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY

   1. Put matchmarks on the adjust cams and the rear suspension member sub-assembly.
   2. Remove the bolt and nut, and separate the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly from the rear axle carrier sub-assembly.
      NOTE:

      Since a stopper nut is used, loosen the bolt.

   3. Remove the nut, the No. 2 camber adjust cam, the rear suspension toe adjust cam sub-assembly, and the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly.

      HINT: 

      Keep the rear suspension toe adjust cam sub-assembly from rotating when removing the nut.

9. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY

   1. Remove the 2 bolts, the 2 nuts, and the rear No. 1 suspension arm assembly.
      NOTE:

      Since stopper nuts are used, loosen the bolts.
