Front Crankshaft Oil Seal: Installation

- INSTALL TIMING CHAIN COVER OIL SEAL
- Apply MP grease to the lip of a new oil seal.NOTE: Keep the lip free of foreign matter.
- Using SST and a hammer, tap in the oil seal until its surface is flush with the rear oil seal retainer edge.

NOTE: Wipe off extra grease from the crankshaft.
- Apply MP grease to the lip of a new oil seal.
- INSTALL CRANKSHAFT PULLEY
- Align the pulley set key with the key groove of the pulley.
- Using SST, hold the pulley in place and tighten the bolt.

Torque: 190 N*m (1940 kgf*cm, 140 ft.*lbf)
NOTE: Check the SST installation positions when installing them to prevent the SST fixing bolts from coming into contact with the timing chain cover sub-assembly.
- INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT (See INSTALLATION )
- ADJUST V-RIBBED BELT (See INSTALLATION )
- INSPECT V-RIBBED BELT (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
- ADD ENGINE OIL (See REPLACEMENT )
- INSPECT FOR ENGINE OIL LEAK
- INSTALL NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
- INSTALL FRONT WHEEL RH
