Occupant Classification Ecu: Installation

INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU
1. Install the occupant classification ECU with the claw.
  NOTE:
  - If the occupant classification ECU has been dropped, or there are any cracks, dents or other defects in the case or connector, replace the occupant classification ECU with a new one.

  - When installing the occupant classification ECU, be careful that the SRS wiring does not interfere with other parts and that it is not pinched between other parts.
2. Connect the 2 connectors.
INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Manual Seat)

INSPECT FRONT SEAT SLIDE ADJUSTER LOCK (for Manual Seat) (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL REAR SEAT TRACK COVER RH (for Manual Seat)

INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK COVER RH (for Manual Seat)

Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side (See INSTALLATION ).
INSTALL FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER RH (for Manual Seat)
HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side (See INSTALLATION ).
INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH (for Manual Seat)

INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Power Seat)

INSTALL REAR INNER SEAT TRACK COVER RH (for Power Seat)

INSTALL REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER RH (for Power Seat)

INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK COVER RH (for Power Seat)

CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for Manual Seat)
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
INSPECT FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat) (See INSTALLATION )
INSPECT FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat) (See INSTALLATION )
INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
1. Inspect the SRS warning light (See DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).
