Exhaust Manifold: Removal

REMOVE UNDER NO. 1 ENGINE COVER
REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH
1. Disconnect the 3 clips.
2. Remove the 2 screws, 4 bolts and front floor cover LH.

REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY
1. Disconnect the clamp and connector.

2. Remove the 4 bolts, 2 compression springs and front exhaust pipe.
3. Remove the gasket from the front exhaust pipe.
4. Remove the gasket from the exhaust manifold assembly.

REMOVE MANIFOLD STAY
1. Remove the bolt, nut and stay.

REMOVE NO. 2 MANIFOLD STAY
1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp.

3. Remove the bolt, nut and No. 2 manifold stay.

REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the bolt and plate.

2. Remove the 5 nuts and exhaust manifold.

3. Remove the exhaust manifold gasket.

REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR
1. Remove the bolt and No. 2 exhaust manifold heat insulator.
REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (See REMOVAL )
