Front Bumper: Removal

  1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL  (See REMOVAL  )
  2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE  (See REMOVAL  )
  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (w/o Fog Light) 
    1. Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.

      HINT:

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    2. Remove the screw.

      HINT:

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    3. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

      HINT:

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    4. Remove the 7 screws and clip.

    5. Disengage the 4 claws and disconnect the front bumper assembly.

      HINT:

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    6. Remove the front bumper assembly.

  4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (w/ Fog Light) 
    1. Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.

      HINT:

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    2. Remove the screw.

      HINT:

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    3. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

      HINT:

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    4. Remove the 7 screws and clip.

    5. Disengage the 4 claws and disconnect the front bumper assembly.

      HINT:

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    6. Disconnect each fog light connector, and then remove the front bumper assembly.
