Stereo Component Amplifier: Removal

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH
REMOVE OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER RH
HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side (See REMOVAL ).
REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK COVER RH
HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side (See REMOVAL ).
REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side (See DISASSEMBLY ).
REMOVE AUDIO AMPLIFIER COVER
1. Disengage the 2 clips and remove the audio amplifier cover.
REMOVE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY
1. Disconnect each connector.

2. Remove the 2 bolts and stereo component amplifier assembly.
