Front Passenger Airbag Assembly: Installation

INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE ASSEMBLY
1. Connect the 2 connectors to the front passenger airbag assembly.
  NOTE: When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.
2. Install the clip.
INSTALL HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT NO. 3
INSTALL SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT NO. 2
INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY
HINT:

Refer to procedures from "INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY" (See INSTALLATION ).
CONNECT FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY CONNECTOR
1. Connect the connector.
  NOTE: When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH LOWER PANEL RH
INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY NO. 2
INSTALL FRONT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP RH
INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
INSPECT STEERING PAD
PERFORM INITIALIZATION
1. Perform initialization (See INITIALIZATION ).
  HINT:
  
  Some systems need initialization when disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal.
INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
1. Inspect the SRS warning light (See DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).
