How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
HINT:
- Use these procedures to troubleshoot the meter/gauge system.

- VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP
- INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
Standard Voltage: 11 to 14 V
If the voltage is below 11V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.
- CHECK FOR DTC*
- Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
- Clear the DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
- Recheck for DTCs. Based on the DTCs output above, try to force output of the same CAN communication system DTC or meter/gauge system DTC by simulating the symptoms indicated by the DTC.
