Front Stabilizer Bar: Removal

  1. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE 

    HINT:

    Remove engine assembly with transaxle (See REMOVAL ).

  2. SEPARATE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the nut and separate the front stabilizer link assembly LH.

      HINT:

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon wrench (6 mm) to hold the stud bolt.

  3. SEPARATE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT:

    Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET LH 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and the No. 1 front stabilizer bracket LH from the front frame assembly.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET RH 

    HINT:

    Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

  6. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR 
  7. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET LH 
    1. Remove the No. 2 front stabilizer bracket LH from the front stabilizer bar bushing.
  8. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET RH 

    HINT:

    Perform the same procedure for the LH side.

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BAR BUSHING 
    1. Remove the 2 No. 1 front stabilizer bar bushings from the front stabilizer bar.
