Inspection Procedure

INSPECT FUSE (ABS2/VSC2)
1. Remove the ABS2/VSC2 fuse from the engine room R/B.
2. Measure the resistance.
  Standard resistance:
  
  Below 1 Ω
NG: CHECK FOR SHORTS IN ALL HARNESSES AND CONNECTORS CONNECTED TO FUSE AND REPLACE FUSE

OK: Go to next step

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BATTERY - SKID CONTROL ECU - BODY GROUND)

Disconnect the skid control ECU connector.

Measure the voltage.

Standard voltage

VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

Tester Connection	Specified Condition
A15-1 (+BS) - Body ground	11 to 14 V

Measure the resistance.

Standard resistance

RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

Tester Connection	Specified Condition
A15-2 (GND1) - Body ground	Below 1 Ω
A15-24 (GND2) - Body ground	Below 1 Ω

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK: Go to next step

RECONFIRM DTC

Clear the DTC(s) (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
Start the engine.
Drive the vehicle at 4 mph (6 km/h) or more to activate the initial check.

Check if the same DTC(s) is output (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
