Transmission Oil Cooler: Installation

  1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER 
    1. Install the oil cooler to the bracket with the 3 bolts.

      Torque: 12 N*m (122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf)

    2. *1: Connect the No. 1 oil cooler outlet hose to the transmission.
    3. *2: Connect the No. 1 oil cooler inlet hose to the transmission.
    4. *3: Connect the No. 3 water by-pass hose to the transmission.
    5. *4: Connect the No. 4 water by-pass hose to the transmission.

  2. ADD AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID 
  3. INSPECT AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID 
    1. Inspect the automatic transaxle fluid (see ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION  ).
  4. ADD COOLANT 
    1. Add the coolant (see REPLACEMENT ).
