AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (for Automatic Air Conditioning System): Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER 
    1. Remove the front bumper cover (see REMOVAL ).
  3. REMOVE AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Using a screwdriver, pull out the sensor, then disconnect the connector.

      HINT:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
