Water Pump: Installation

INSTALL WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY
1. Install the water pump assembly through a new gasket with the 3 bolts and 2 nuts.
  Torque: 11 N*m (112 kgf*cm, 8.1 ft.*lbf)

INSTALL WATER PUMP PULLEY
1. Provisionally install the water pump pulley with the 3 bolts.
2. Using SST, hold the water pump pulley.
  SST 09960-10010 (09962-01000, 09963-00700)
3. Tighten the 3 bolts to the specified torque.
  Torque: 15 N*m (153 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf)

INSTALL ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for Hatchback) (See INSTALLATION )

INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT (See INSTALLATION )
ADJUST FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT (See INSTALLATION )
INSPECT FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT (See INSTALLATION )
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
ADD ENGINE COOLANT (See REPLACEMENT )
CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
