POWER OUTLET SOCKET (for Hatchback): Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY CENTER (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  6. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  7. DISCONNECT AIR MIX DAMPER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  8. DISCONNECT DEFROSTER DAMPER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  9. DISCONNECT AIR INLET DAMPER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  10. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET 
    1. Disconnect the power outlet connector.

    2. Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw, then turn the power outlet socket counterclockwise and push the power outlet socket half way out.

    3. Align the protrusion of the power outlet socket with the cutout of the power outlet socket cover and then push the power outlet socket out.

  11. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the power outlet socket cover.
