NO. 2 BLACK OUT TAPE (for Sedan): Removal

HINT:

The procedure described below is for the LH side. Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides, unless otherwise specified.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Power Window) 
2. REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY (w/o Power Window)  (See DISASSEMBLY )
3. REMOVE REAR DOOR ARMREST BASE UPPER PANEL  (See DISASSEMBLY )
4. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See DISASSEMBLY )
5. REMOVE REAR DOOR BELT MOLDING (See REMOVAL  )
6. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS RUN  (See DISASSEMBLY )
7. REMOVE NO. 2 BLACK OUT TAPE 
   1. Using an infrared light, heat the No. 2 black out tape.
      NOTE: Do not burn yourself with the heated front door panel or infrared light.

      HINT:

      Heat at 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F) for 3 to 5 minutes.

   2. Lift the end portion with your nail and peel it parallel to the attachment surface.
