NAME PLATE (for Sedan): Removal

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Fog Light)
REMOVE FRONT SPOILER COVER (w/ Front Spoiler) (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER
1. Apply protective tape, as shown in the illustration.

2. w/ Front Spoiler:
  1. Remove the 5 screws and the 3 bolts.
  2. Remove the 2 screw grommets.
  3. Remove the 6 clips.

3. w/o Front Spoiler:
  1. Remove the 7 screws and the 3 bolts.
  2. Remove the 2 screw grommets.
  3. Remove the 6 clips.

4. w/ Fog Light:
  1. Disengage the 6 claws and remove the front bumper cover.
  2. Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.

5. w/o Fog Light:
  1. Disengage the 6 claws and remove the front bumper cover.

REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM
1. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the radiator grille emblem.

REMOVE NO. 6 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR NAME PLATE
1. Apply protective tape, as shown in the illustration.
2. Using an infrared light, heat the No. 6 luggage compartment door name plate.
  CAUTION: Do not burn yourself with the heated luggage compartment door panel or infrared light.
  
  HINT:
  
  Heat at 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F) for 1 to 2 minutes.

3. Using a gasket scraper with its tip wrapped in protective tape, gradually peel the adhesive surface and remove the No. 6 luggage compartment door name plate.
4. Remove the protective tape.

REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR NAME PLATE
1. Apply protective tape, as shown in the illustration.
2. Using an infrared light, heat the No. 2 luggage compartment door name plate.
  CAUTION: Do not burn yourself with the heated luggage compartment door panel or infrared light.
  
  HINT:
  
  Heat at 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F) for 1 to 2 minutes.

3. Using a gasket scraper with its tip wrapped in protective tape, gradually peel the adhesive surface and remove the No. 2 luggage compartment door name plate.
4. Remove the protective tape.

REMOVE SYMBOL EMBLEM
1. Apply protective tape, as shown in the illustration.
2. Using an infrared light, heat the symbol emblem.
  CAUTION: Do not burn yourself with the heated luggage compartment door panel or infrared light.
  
  HINT:
  
  Heat at 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F) for 1 to 2 minutes.
