Upper Instrument Panel: Installation

  1. INSTALL UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL 
    1. Attach the 6 clips and 5 claws to install the instrument panel.
    2. Connect the connectors and clamps.
    3. Install the 2 bolts and 2 screws.

    4. Connect the passenger airbag connector.
    5. Install the 2 bolts to the passenger airbag.

      Torque: 20 N*m (204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf) 

  2. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH (See appropriate step(s) under  INSTALLATION  )  
  3. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH (See appropriate step(s) under  INSTALLATION  )  
  4. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION  )

  5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY CENTER 
    1. Attach the 5 clips to install the instrument panel register.

  6. INSTALL RADIO RECEIVER 
    1. Connect the connectors.
    2. Attach the 4 clips to install the radio receiver.
    3. Install the 4 bolts.

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL CENTER 
    1. Connect the connector.
    2. Attach the 3 clips and 3 claws to install the cluster finish panel.

  8. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL CENTER 
    1. Connect the connector.
    2. Attach the 3 clips and 3 claws to install the cluster finish panel.

  9. INSTALL COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the connector.
    2. Attach the 2 clips to install the combination meter.
    3. Install the 2 screws.

  10. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Attach the 4 clips and 6 claws to install the instrument cluster finish panel.

  11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  12. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT 
    1. Check the SRS warning light (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).
