Inspection Procedure

NOTE:

When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver, read the IDs stored in the old ECU using the intelligent tester and write them down before removal.
It is necessary to perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ) after registration (see REGISTRATION ) of the transmitter IDs into the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver after the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver has been replaced.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ANTENNA - ECU)

Disconnect the T26 ECU connector.
Disconnect the T30 and T31 antenna connectors.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

STANDARD RESISTANCE REFERENCE CHART

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
T26-3 (ANT L) - T30-1	Always	Below 1 Ω
T26-2 (ANT R) - T31-1	Always	Below 1 Ω

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK: GO TO next step.

REPLACE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY (TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ANTENNA)
1. Replace tire pressure warning antenna (outer rear view mirror) (see REMOVAL ).
CHECK TEST MODE DTC
1. Check test mode DTC (see TEST MODE PROCEDURE ).
  OK: DTC is not output.
NG: REPLACE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU AND RECEIVER (see REPLACEMENT )

OK: END
