TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU (w/ Receiver): Replacement

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU AND RECEIVER
1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Remove the 2 bolts and ECU.

INSTALL TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU AND RECEIVER
1. Install the ECU with the 2 bolts.
2. Connect the connector.
INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
PERFORM INITIALIZATION (for Tire Pressure Warning System)

1. When the valve is replaced, perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).

  NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
