Front Passenger Airbag Assembly: Installation

INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
1. Install the front passenger airbag assembly with the bolt and the 2 nuts.
  Torque: Bolt
  
  20 N*m (204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)
  
  Nut
  
  5.6 N*m (57 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)

CONNECT FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY CONNECTOR
1. Connect the connector to the front passenger airbag assembly.
  NOTE: When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.
INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL NO.2 FINISH PANEL LOWER (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )

CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
PERFORM INITIALIZATION
1. Perform initialization (See INITIALIZATION ).
  HINT:
  
  Some systems need initialization when disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal.
INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
1. Inspect the SRS warning light (See DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).
