FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat): Disassembly

1. Using a piece of cloth, remove the snap rings and vertical seat adjuster knob.

1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 claws and remove the vertical seat adjuster knob cap.

   HINT:

   Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

1. Remove the 2 screws and vertical adjusting handle No.2.

1. Lift the reclining adjuster release handle.
2. Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

   HINT:

   Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

1. Release the 2 rubber bands on the backside of the front seatback board cover sub-assembly.
2. Remove the screw.
3. Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw at the top of the cushion shield.

   HINT:

   Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

4. Move the front seat cushion shield in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.
5. Disengage the claw and clip, and remove the front seat cushion shield.

1. Remove the screw.
2. Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw at the top of the cushion shield inner.

   HINT:

   Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

3. Move the front seat cushion shield inner in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.
4. Disengage the claw and clip, and remove the front seat cushion shield inner.

1. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
2. Using a screwdriver, raise the 2 claws on the cushion frame of the front seat adjuster RH.

   HINT:

   Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

3. With passenger seat heater:
   1. Disconnect the connector.
4. Disengage the hooks and remove the hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

1. Remove the hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover.

1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the seat armrest cover.

   HINT:

   Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

1. Remove the bolt and seat armrest assembly.

1. Remove the 2 screws.
2. Slide the front seatback board sub-assembly down to disengage the 2 claws at the top.

3. Hold the top right and lower left corners of the front seatback board sub-assembly.

4. Turn the front seatback board sub-assembly counterclockwise to disengage the 2 claws.

   Remove the front seatback board sub-assembly.

1. Disengage the hooks and remove the front seatback board cover sub-assembly.

1. Release the hook and turn back the upper part of the separate type front seatback cover so that access to the claws of the front seat headrest supports is possible.

2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front seat headrest support (LH side).

HINT:

Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

1. With passenger seat heater:
   1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Without front seat side airbag:
   1. Disengage the hook and remove the separate type front seatback cover bracket with pad.
3. With front seat side airbag:
   1. Remove the nut and disconnect the separate type front seatback cover bracket.
   2. Disengage the hook and remove the separate type front seatback cover bracket with pad.

1. Remove the hog rings and separate type front seatback cover.

1. Remove the screw and LH seat reclining adjuster inside cover.

HINT:

Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

1. Remove the screws and reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

HINT:

Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

1. Remove the screws and front seat cushion shield lower LH.

HINT:

Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

1. Remove the vertical adjuster spacer.

1. Disengage the clamp and remove the front seat wire.

1. Disengage the clamp and remove the 2 nuts and front seat side airbag assembly.
