Transmission Control Cable: Removal

HINT:

• Refer to the instructions for removal of the air conditioner unit assembly.

1. Remove the 3 bolts, and separate the airbag sensor assembly center.

1. Remove the 3 nuts and heat insulator No. 1.

1. Remove the clip and separate the end of the shift cable from the shift lever assembly.

2. Using a screwdriver, release the cable outer spring.
3. Turn the lock, and separate the shift cable from the shift lever retainer.

1. Remove the clip and separate the end of the select cable from the shift lever assembly.

2. Using a screwdriver, release the cable outer spring.
3. Turn the lock, and separate the select cable from the shift lever retainer.

1. Remove the 2 clip and 2 washers, and separate the top of the control cable assembly from the transaxle.
2. Remove the 2 clips, and separate the control cable assembly from the control cable bracket.

3. Remove the 2 nuts and clamp.

4. Remove the 2 bolts from the retainer.
5. Pull out the control cable assembly from the floor.

6. Remove the retainer from the grommet.
7. Remove the control cable assembly from the grommet.
