Exhaust Pipe And Catalytic Converter: Removal

DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR
1. Using a clip remover, remove the clip [A].
2. Pull off the floor carpet front [B].

3. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector [C].
4. Remove the grommet [D], then pull the connector to the outside if the vehicle.

5. Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor.

REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY TAIL
1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs [A].
2. Remove the exhaust pipe tail from the 2 exhaust pipe supports No. 4 [B].

3. Remove the gasket from the exhaust pipe assembly front.

REMOVE FLOOR PANEL BRACE FRONT
1. Remove the 2 nuts and floor panel brace front.

REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY FRONT
1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs [A].
2. Remove the exhaust pipe front from the 2 exhaust pipe supports No. 4 [B].

3. Remove the gasket from the exhaust manifold.
