Inspection Procedure
HINT:
Start the inspection from step 1 when using the hand-held tester and start from step 2 when not using the hand-held tester.
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY HAND-HELD TESTER (ABS MOTOR RELAY OPERATION)
- Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
- Start the engine.
- Select ACTIVE TEST mode on the hand-held tester.
- Check the operation sound of the ABS motor individually when operating it with the hand-held tester.

- RECONFIRM DTC
HINT:
These codes are detected when a problem is determined in the brake actuator assy.
The motor circuit is in the brake actuator assy.
Therefore, motor circuit inspection and motor unit inspection cannot be performed.
Be sure to check if the DTC codes are output before replacing the brake actuator assy.
- Clear the DTCs (SEE DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Are the same DTCs recorded? (See DTC CHECK/CLEAR )
NO: END
HINT:
These DTCs may be memorized due to a malfunction in the connector terminal.
YES: REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSY (See step 3 in REPLACEMENT )
