Inspection Procedure

1. Check driver seat belt warning operation.

1. Remove the combination meter assy with the connectors still connected.
2. Ground terminal C7-14 of the combination meter assy connector.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
4. Check that the seat belt warning light blinks.

OK: Warning light blinks. 

NG: REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSY (SEE  OVERHAUL  ) 

OK: Go to Next Step 

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to Next Step 

1. Check the continuity in between terminals 2 (3) and 3 (6) of the front seat inner belt assy (driver side).

Standard: 

NG: REPLACE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSY (DRIVER SIDE) 

OK: Go to Next Step 

NG: REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSY (SEE  OVERHAUL  ) 

OK: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
