Heater Control Assembly On-Vehicle Inspection: Removal

  1. REMOVE CLUSTER FINISH PANEL (Integration panel) 
    1. Using pliers, pull out the 2 knobs.
      NOTE: Cover the knobs with a cloth, when pulling the knobs.
    2. Remove the 2 screws.
    3. Using a screwdriver, release the 6 fitting clips and pull out the cluster finish panel, then disconnect the connectors.

    NOTE: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
  2. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  3. REMOVE CLUSTER PANEL (Combination meter) 
  4. REMOVE COMBINATION METER 
  5. DISCONNECT HEATER CONTROL CABLES

  6. REMOVE HEATER CONTROL ASSEMBLY 

    Release the 2 claws and pull out the heater control assembly.
