Inspection Procedure

HINT:

Start the inspection from step 1 in case of using the hand-held tester and start from step 2 in case of not using the hand-held tester.

1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY HAND-HELD TESTER (ABS SOLENOID RELAY OPERATION) 
   1. Select the "ABS SOL RELAY" in the ACTIVE TEST and operate the ABS solenoid relay on the hand held tester.
   2. Check the operation sound of the ABS solenoid relay when operating it with the hand-held tester.

      OK: The operation sound of the ABS solenoid should be heard. 

   1. OK: CHECK AND REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSY (SEE  REPLACEMENT  ) 

   NG: Go to Next Step. 

2. CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE (+BS AND GND OF SKID CONTROL ECU) 
   1. Disconnect the skid control ECU connector.
   2. Measure the voltage between terminals 1 and 2 or 24 of the skid control ECU connector.

      Standard: 11 to 14 V

   1. NG: CHECK AND REPAIR HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

   OK: IF THE SAME CODE IS STILL OUTPUT AFTER THE DTC IS DELETED, CHECK THE CONTACT CONDITION OF EACH CONNECTION
