Inspection Procedure

HINT:

Start the inspection from step 1 in case of using the hand-held tester and start from step 2 in case of not using the hand-held tester.

1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY HAND-HELD TESTER 
   1. Select the "ABS MOT RELAY" in the ACTIVE TEST and operate the ABS motor relay on the hand-held tester.
   2. Check the operation sound of the ABS motor relay when operating it with the hand-held tester.

      OK: The operation sound of the pump motor should be heard. 

   1. NG: Go to step 2 

   OK: CHECK AND REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSY (SEE  REPLACEMENT  ) 

2. CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE (+BM AND GND OF SKID CONTROL ECU) 
   1. Disconnect the skid control ECU connector.
   2. Measure the voltage between terminals 23 and 2 or 24 of the skid control ECU connector.

      Standard: 10 to 14 V

   1. NG: CHECK AND REPAIR HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

   OK: IF THE SAME CODE IS STILL OUTPUT AFTER THE DTC IS DELETED, CHECK THE CONTACT CONDITION OF EACH CONNECTION
