Inspection Procedure

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY HAND-HELD TESTER (ABS WARNING LIGHT OPERATION)
1. Select the "ABS WARN LIGHT" in the ACTIVE TEST and operate the ABS warning light on the hand-held tester.
2. Check that "ON" and "OFF" operation of the ABS warning light can be done on the combination meter by the hand-held tester.
1. OK: CHECK AND REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSY (SEE REPLACEMENT )
NG: Go to Next Step.
CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
1. Check the harness and connector between the skid control ECU and combination meter.
1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to Next Step.
INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSY (ABS WARNING LIGHT CIRCUIT)
1. Check combination meter assy (see COMBINATION METER ).
1. NG: REPAIR COMBINATION METER ASSY (SEE HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )
OK: CHECK AND REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSY (SEE REPLACEMENT )
