Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT TIRE SIZE 
    1. Check tire size and condition of all 4 wheels (See WHEEL AND TIRE SYSTEM ).

      Standard: 

      The diameter and air pressure of the tires of all 4 wheels are the same. 

    1. NG: REPLACE TIRES SO THAT ALL 4 TIRES ARE SAME IN SIZE 

    OK: Go to Next Step. 

  2. INSPECT SPEED SENSOR ROTOR (See  DTC C0200/31 RIGHT FRONT SPEED SENSOR, DTC C0205/32 LEFT FRONT SPEED SENSOR, DTC C1330/35 FOREIGN MATTER IS ATTACHED ON TIP OF RIGHT FRONT WHEEL, DTC C1331/36 FOREIGN MATTER IS ATTACHED ON TIP ON LEFT FRONT SENSOR   AND  DTC C0210/33 RIGHT REAR SPEED SENSOR, DTC C0215/34 LEFT REAR SPEED SENSOR, DTC C1332/38 FOREIGN MATTER IS ATTACHED ON TIP OF RIGHT REAR SENSOR, DTC C1333/39 FOREIGN MATTER IS ATTACHED ON TIP OF LEFT REAR SENSOR   ) 
    1. NG: REPLACE SENSOR ROTOR 

    OK: Go to Next Step. 

  3. INSPECT SPEED SENSOR (See  DTC C0200/31 RIGHT FRONT SPEED SENSOR, DTC C0205/32 LEFT FRONT SPEED SENSOR, DTC C1330/35 FOREIGN MATTER IS ATTACHED ON TIP OF RIGHT FRONT WHEEL, DTC C1331/36 FOREIGN MATTER IS ATTACHED ON TIP ON LEFT FRONT SENSOR   AND  DTC C0210/33 RIGHT REAR SPEED SENSOR, DTC C0215/34 LEFT REAR SPEED SENSOR, DTC C1332/38 FOREIGN MATTER IS ATTACHED ON TIP OF RIGHT REAR SENSOR, DTC C1333/39 FOREIGN MATTER IS ATTACHED ON TIP OF LEFT REAR SENSOR   ) 
    1. NG: REPLACE SPEED SENSOR 

    OK: Go to Next Step. 

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SPEED SENSOR - SKID CONTROL ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the skid control ECU connector, front speed sensor connectors and rear speed sensor connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      Front LH: 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION FRONT LH (1 OF 2)

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      S1 -5 (FL+) - A6-2 (FL+) 1 Ω or less
      S1 -6 (FL-) - A6-1 (FL-) 1 Ω or less

      Front RH: 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION FRONT RH (1 OF 2)

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      S1 - 10 (FR+) - A7 -2 (FR+) 1 Ω or less
      S1 -9 (FR-) - A7 - 1 (FR-) 1 Ω or less

      Rear LH: 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION REAR LH (1 OF 2)

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      S1 - 7 (RL+) - A32- 1 (RL+) 1 Ω or less
      S1 - 17 (RL-) - A32-2 (RL-) 1 Ω or less

      Rear RH: 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION REAR RH (1 OF 2)

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      S1 - 19 (RR+) - A33-1 (RR+) 1 Ω or less
      S1 -8 (RR-) - A33-2 (RR-) 1 Ω or less
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      Front LH: 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION FRONT LH (2 OF 2)

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      A6-2 (FL+) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      A6-1 (FL-) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher

      Front RH: 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION FRONT RH (2 OF 2)

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      A7 -2 (FR+) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      A7 - 1 (FR-) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher

      Rear LH: 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION REAR LH (2 OF 2)

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      A32- 1 (RL+) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      A32-2 (RL-) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher

      Rear RH: 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION REAR RH (2 OF 2)

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      A33- 1 (RR+) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      A33-2 (RR-) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSY (See  REPLACEMENT  )
