Inspection Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Toyota Tundra and 2005 Toyota Tundra. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: When replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform zero point CALIBRATION  .
  1. Check voltage between terminals TS (12) and CG (4) of the DLC3. 

    CHECK: 

    1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
    2. Measure the voltage between terminals TS (12) and CG (4) of the DLC3.

    OK: 

    Voltage: 10 to 14 V

    1. NG : Go to step   3 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  2. Check harness and connector between master cylinder solenoid (skid control ECU) and DLC3. 
    1. NG : Repair or replace harness or connector. 
    2. OK : Replace master cylinder solenoid (See  DISASSEMBLY  ). 
  3. Check harness and connector between terminal CG of DLC3 and body ground. 

    CHECK: 

    Measure the resistance between terminal CG of DLC3 and body ground.

    OK: 

    Continuity.

    1. NG : Repair or replace harness or connector. 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  4. Check harness and connector between master cylinder solenoid (skid control ECU) and DLC3. 
    1. NG : Repair or replace harness or connector. 
    2. OK : Replace master cylinder solenoid (See  DISASSEMBLY  ).
