Inspection Procedure

NOTE: When replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform zero point CALIBRATION .

Check tire size.
CHECK:

Check tire size and condition of all 4 wheels.

OK:

The 4 wheels are the same size and in the same condition.
1. NG : Replace tires so that all 4 tires are the same size.
2. OK : Go to next step.
Check speed sensor rotor (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION ).
1. NG : Replace speed sensor rotor.
2. OK : Go to next step.
Check speed sensor (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION ).
1. NG : Replace speed sensor.
2. OK : Go to next step.
Check harness and connector between master cylinder solenoid (skid control ECU) and each speed sensor.
1. NG : Repair or replace harness or connector.
2. OK : Go to next step.
Reconfirm DTC (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
PREPARATION:
1. Clear the DTC.
2. Drive the vehicle at more than 13 mph (20 km/h) for more than 60 seconds.
CHECK:

Check if the same DTC is detected.

RESULT:

DTC is output A

DTC is not output B
1. B : END.
2. A : Replace master cylinder solenoid (See DISASSEMBLY ).
