Inspection Procedure

NOTE:
When replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform zero point CALIBRATION
.
- Check AUTO LSD switch.
PREPARATION:
Disconnect the skid control ECU connector S29.
CHECK:
Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

OK:
SKID CONTROL ECU CONNECTOR S29 VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONSTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition S29-43 (CSW) - Body ground AUTO LSD Switch ON Below 1 V S29-43 (CSW) - Body ground AUTO LSD Switch OFF 8 to 14 V HINT:
The signal is applied to terminal CSW only when the AUTO LSD switch is pressed.
- NG : Repair or replace AUTO LSD switch circuit.
- OK : Go to next step.
- Check for open or short circuit in harness and connector between AUTO LSD switch and master cylinder solenoid (skid control ECU).
- NG : Repair or replace harness or connector.
- OK : Go to next step.
- Check for open or short circuit in harness and connector between AUTO LSD switch and body ground.
- NG : Repair or replace harness or connector.
- OK : Replace master cylinder solenoid (See DISASSEMBLY ).
