Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to "WIRING DIAGRAM ".

CHECK REAR WIPER MOTOR AUTO STOP CIRCUITS FOR OPEN

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect BCM and rear wiper motor.

Check continuity between BCM harness connector terminals and rear wiper motor harness connector terminals.

Is inspection result normal?

YES: GO TO 2

NO: Repair or replace harness.

CHECK AUTO STOP CIRCUITS FOR SHORT TO GROUND

Check continuity between BCM harness connector terminals and ground.

Is inspection result normal?

YES: Replace BCM. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".

NO: Repair or replace harness.
